Collection: MOONRISE ON BLACK BEACH COLLECTION
Moonrise on the Black Beach is inspired by our family outings to the black sand dunes of Sigatoka, our favourite sunset activity. The Sky turns into an impressionist painting of dusty lilac, mauve pink and soft grey. Roaring waves crashing onto endless black beach by the South Pacific Coast. Our children run free, barefooted chasing each other . Moon rises quietly behind us. A beautiful ending to an ordinary day.
DESIGN NOTE
Watercolour is used to capture the dreaminess of sunset sky. Ribbons of black, grey and navy interpret the oneness of the sea, sky and land. Each white dot of ocean foam is hand painted individually onto endless black sand beach.
